The Bar

Open to both guests and locals for a refreshing drink and casual dining.

Whether you’re in the mood for a morning coffee, a leisurely lunch, or a satisfying dinner, the bar is the perfect setting to enjoy these moments.

Our lunch menu typically features some of the old favourites; chicken Caesar salad, smoked salmon sandwiches, grilled steak sandwiches, beer battered fish & chips and burger with skinny fries. Our dinner menu is smart but unfussy providing contemporary dishes made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. 

To accompany our menus, we have a wide range of quality wines, a comprehensive selection of Gins and Whisky’s some of which are locally produced in the Lake District and not forgetting our thirst quenching ales from local breweries on draught.

When the weather permits, you can take advantage of our outdoor courtyard, to relax and enjoy your drink and a bite to eat amidst the refreshing outdoors.

Feel free to bring along your muddy boots and furry friends, as we are happy to accommodate both.
