When you visit us you can have peace of mind knowing we have implemented enhanced hygiene measures to maintain a safe environment for our guests, customers and colleagues.
Guests and colleagues will be required to have a body temperature check each time they enter the hotel. During check-in, guests are asked if they are feeling well or showing any signs of illness, and anyone with a fever above 37.5 C (99.5 F) or who is experiencing any symptoms will be advised to contact a doctor immediately.
Our housekeeping service will be more visible throughout the hotel and will employ enhanced cleaning and sanitation protocols. We have located Hand Sanitiser stations around the hotel for use by guests and staff and the cleaning and sanitation of bar, restaurant, lounges, reception, surfaces, handrails and other hard surfaces will be undertaken frequently throughout the day.
Housekeeping teams will be delivering a high touch cleaning programme in every room before check-in. Each room will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitised after guest check out. All non-essential items, including magazines and other reading materials, some decorative and information items have been removed from rooms and other public areas.
We will no longer offer ‘mid-stay cleans’. Replenishment of towels and in-room consumables are available upon request to minimise the time spent in guest rooms.
Guests can expect rigorous cleaning with an emphasis on contact points such as door handles, light switches and TV remote and complimentary hand gel stations have been installed throughout the building.
A one way system has been implemented throughout the hotel. Signage will be displayed in all common areas to reinforce social distancing and hand sanitising stations will be provided at each doorway and key public area as well as additional stations in public bathroom areas.
Restaurants, lounges and communal areas have been reconfigured to create ‘physical distancing’. All guests are encouraged to take time to familiarise themselves with the current regulations in place.
We have adjusted our bar, restaurant and outdoor spaces to allow for social distancing and tables will respect social distancing measures of 2 metres
We guarantee table reservations for breakfast, lunch and dinner for our guests. Breakfast, lunch and dinner times will be confirmed on check-in to ensure we can accommodate safe seating practice.
We have contactless express check-in/out functionality which is a great way to manage your stay with us. You can check in prior to arrival, view your bill, settle your invoice and even check out without the need to visit Reception.
We are no longer accepting cash in any area of the hotel.
Every team member will be trained in new health and hygiene related procedures and their responsibility to guests and colleagues. New policies and processes have been implemented and the hotel will take all reasonable steps to follow the government’s Covid-19 Secure Workplace Guidance. All necessary PPE will be supplied. This will include face coverings and gloves for all guest facing team members to be used when appropriate. All employees will be trained to identify symptoms of Covid-19 and will be temperature-screened before starting work.
We will still be delivering the same attention to detail and personalised service that you are used to at The Eltermere Inn and we want you to be able to relax in a space that feels familiar and safe. The health and safety of our guests and team is our absolute priority and we will update our procedures continuously to ensure appropriate processes are in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing in line with Government guidance.
