Eltermere Inn

If to the Lakes you are on your way
I know the perfect place to stay
Surrounded by hills and a view of the lake
Its position for certain takes the cake
Built in 1756 and weathered by rain
It’s being refurbished all over again
The Jones Mark, Edward and of course Ruth
Have worked wonders and that is the truth
Extra sitting rooms and a brand new bar
Will attract people from both near and far
Viv and the chefs are really up beat
Producing each special gastronomic treat
Then there’s Johnathan their man Friday
Who makes sure everything’s neat and tidy
For peace comfort and a high class menu
This surely will prove to be the right venue
Pick up the phone do not be fright
A visit here is sheer delight.

Fantastic weekend.. Charlotte and Andrew at the top of Scafell

Just to let you know that Charlotte and I had a perfect couple of days the other week helped by the weather but made by the fabulous food, top hospitality and great surroundings. We have recommended the inn to several friends, a couple of whom are keen to come up so I've passed on your website address.
